Movie Review: Munchie Strikes Back!

"Munchie Strikes Back" is the second sequel to 1987's "Munchies," though you'd never guess that from watching it. Howard Heeseman voices a creepy-but-friendly space alien charged with helping a lonely boy find happiness in his awful, hopeless, fatherless life. I believe this one made the cable rounds a few years ago. Review includes a few video clips and a lot of general ill-will towards Munchie.

Is it just me, or does Munchie look a bit like Adolph Hitler in the first and fourth pictures in this review? With the slicked back black hair, the black mark of his nose, the tan-beige button down shirt. Coincidence? I think not!

Aaaah, Munchie. I can recall walks up and down the isles of our local Mom and Pop video store… always passed by the Munchie sequels… now I’m glad I did.

Quite surprised at no mention of Angus Scrimm as Kronos. Especially with that clip showing him in Tall Man demeanor. The movie would have made my top ten if he got angry and said "Booooooooy!!"
