The 11th hour...just in time. Today's article is a special feature about some of the incredibly many Spongebob Squarepants food promotions that have just hit store shelves, ranging from Pop Tarts to cereal, popsicles, Cheez-It crackers, fruit snacks and more. He even got his own macaroni and cheese! He's pretty much everywhere you look in the supermarkets these days -- it's almost as bad as those Hulk promotions we looked at last summer. Here's the article, including several really giant pictures that may potentially cause hunger. When will it end? When there's Spongebob chicken.

I found the "Reaper dusting off Cree Summer" comment ironic, seeing as Cree does a number of voices on Nickelodeon shows. (Actually, I think her voice-over career dates back to at least "Inspector Gadget.") And isn’t "Cree" a great name? Cree. Cree. It’s fun to say and to type.
And regarding Mr. Matt’s comment, quoted as follows:
"You can even cut around Spongey’s head for "more nautical nonsense" inside the box. I’ve yet to do this, but smart money’s on a bunch of Sally Seashell jokes and doodles of cartoon starfish running towards outhouses."
There is no need to cut around Mr. Squarepants’ head. The box front opens on one side. When you open it, one of four Spongebobs appears. The picture on the side of the box is the SpongeBob you will get. However, current boxes of the cereal do not have this feature. (I work at a grocery store, I should know these things.)
