I so remember these. I am so glad I am not the only one. Imention them to people they look at me like I am crazy. I had tiffany and dbbie gibson tapes and the speakers unsteadied
of just headphones. They brought hypo shirts back wonder when these will return lol….????

I remember Pocket Rockers. I had the Deluxe Black/Pink one back in ’89. Had a carrying sleeve and came with a Bangles and a Fat Boys tape. They were radio edit style versions timing in at about 3 minutes a song. Iv’e seen the players selling on Ebay now for $50 and the cassettes for about $5 to $10 each.

heh. Yeah, I remember these. Now they have Tiger’s Hit Clips, new tech, same idea. I hated the bastardization of a favorite CCR song to shill these suckers. Out here in OK, only the rich kids could afford to be so new-wave hip and wear the strange color patterns that are the legacy of the 80′s, but in farm country, that just got you beat up. Fashion wise, the best thing about the 80′s is they ain’t the 70′s. Although I love the bizzare transistor radios from back then.
