I'm 25 and I still get cravings for this cereal. I don't know what everyone else's problem is with this, but I think I'm going to buy a box of Chex and a box of Lucky Charms and pull all of the marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms and put them in the Chex. I liked it, and I miss it, not just for the turtles, but for the flavor.

You have the taste buds of a rotting squirrel carcass if you didn't think this cereal was good. Probably one of the top 3 best cereals of all time. There are two possibilities here: either you never tried the cereal (which would make your article baseless), or you tried it and loved it, but didn't think it would be as funny to write an article praising the cereal. To not like the cereal wouldn't even be a possibility, that's how good it was.

A few days ago, I actually had a hankering for this stuff. Sorry, but this was a huge part of my childhood, and although I had the cereal only a few times, it left a huge impact on me. I had a couple bowls and was hooked (hoho).
I'm glad I noticed this article linked from a few blog posts ago, as I was going back TWENTY PAGES OF BLOG POSTS.
Yeah I'm becoming a bit of a fan.

Oh wait, nevermind. I was really hankering Honeycomb. Nevermind.

This article is a travesty and I take it as a personal offense. The time you have invested in trashing something you clearly know nothing about is appalling. Go back to taste school. No, I take that back. Go back to the womb. Go back to the twinkle in your drunken mother's lazy lidded, slutty eye on prom night. Go back to your parents' first awkward conversation after your mom knocked your dad's books out of his hands after fourth period but didn't have time to help him pick them up. Because she had to go see the P.E. teacher. For Extra Help. It was sexual.

This was the first hit on a google search for "teenage mutant ninja turtles cereal" and I couldn't give a shit if you saved a nursery of babies from a fire or if this shithouse masquerading as a website did a single goddamn thing for anyone... You have sullied the name of a nearly legendary cash-in cereal and insulted both my family and a Shaolin Temple.

Go fuck yourself,
yellowjournalism

p.s. I don't understand why someone hasn't just made sweetened chex + marshmellows. I can understand the cost of licensing the Turtles name but for christ's sake sweetened chex and marshmellows costs nothing to produce and produces everything in the world of taste.

p.p.s. why the fuck are you eating 14 year old boxes of cereal

Man, what is up with this article. I fondly remember my two younger brothers and me the oldest and only girl eating the TMNT cereal. To this day it is the best tasting cereal I have ever had and I would pay a good bit of money for them to bring it back. We ate that cereal every morning for breakfast until they stopped making it which was a total dissappointment. The same goes for the TMNT pies. When we were given our allowance the corner store was the first place we ran to buy our TMNT pies. That is the best dessert ever and it sucks that this stuff isn't available anymore. I was a die hard TMNT fan and the arcade video game not the one you played at home was something else that took my allowance. Playing with my brothers because 4 people could play at once and a TMNT pie in one hand was the perfect day for me. Growing up sucks!

P.S. Yea, the green pie filling took me awhile to eat. I didn't try it until I watched one of my brothers eat it and then there was no going back for me. The cereal and pies were like crack for me too. I would dream about eating the stuff the next day.

I bought a sales sample box (on the back instead of being able to send away for TMNT 2 collector cards, it has a promotion schedule for ads about the cereal) from a comic store. I've been tempted to open it to see if the cereal had legs or not...but I've refrained....man it's old...1989.
