I agree about the networks wising up. I've already noticed two Smurf Christmas specials and the Pac-Land special airing this year. However, Garfield is missing which is obviously blasphemy. I figured they would air it with the live-action film coming soon and the 25th Anniversary.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but here's what I've come across so far for Cartoon Network (all times are EST):

Grinch week starting Dec. 1 at 8PM

Flinstones Christmas Carol Dec. 5 at 8PM

Yogi's First Christmas Dec. 8 at 8PM

A Jetsons Christmas Carol Dec. 9 at 9:30PM

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol Dec. 10 at 8PM

Casper's First Christmas Dec. 10 at 9:30PM

'Tis The Season To Be Smurfy Dec. 22 at 11AM

Smurfs Christmas Dec. 22 at 11:30AM

Yogi Bear's All-Star Comedy Christmas Caper Dec. 24 at 6AM

Christmas Comes To Pac-Land Dec. 24 at 4PM and Dec. 25 at 6:30PM

The times may be a little off but it seems close enough. Also, Ernest Saves Christmas will be on Dec. 7 at 11AM on WGN. You know you want to watch.

hey, thanks for the tvguide report, Matt#2… i’ll be keeping my eye out especially for the Pac-Land special (: i’m sure the Garfield one will show up on a different channel.

also, the Thanksgiving specials weren’t completely ignored this year. Charlie Brown and Winnie the Pooh showed up on ABC last sunday. there just might be hope left.

I only got a breif glimps of the parade. Between having to get a hair cut and that fact that my smaller siblings would rather watch the Fairly Oddparents marathon going on at the time.

I got a breif shot of the Little Bill balloon and the Bob the Builder float. I was really hoping to see Big Bird or Snoopy, but no, it had to be Little Bill and Bob The Builder. I don’t even like Bill Cosby. Stupid Oddparents.
