I liked Supey’s PB !! I could only find it at the local KMart back in the late 70′s and early 80′s.
Was sorry to see it go. In the category of ragging on anything Superman: notice the vidcap of Lex dipping a cracker into the PB. I may be crazy but does it seem as tho Lexxy has TWO right hands? I enjoyed the discussion on one of my favorite snacks. PB in general and Superman PB in particular.

Well, okay I’ll admit it here … Superman PB is one PB I have not tried! I wasn’t old enough to be around when it was produced, but it certainly sounds fun & quite a nostalgic addition to the PB shelf. Loved your blog and will certainly look to adding a new post in my own Peanut Butter blog, “All The Peanut Butter That’s Fit To Print!” Got the code for the Superman PB video ready to go. Thanks for the fascinating history for us youngings

The question is what kind of jelly to put on your peanut butter. Maybe that’s where the company of Superman peanut butter went wrong. You can’t just put any jelly with Superman, and peanut butter alone is crap, therefore no one could eat it. mmmmmmmmmmmm…..eat it!

The only thing that would’ve been better would be Chunky Superman Peanut Butter, complete with a chunky Superman on the label.

I’m still just very impressed that none of those twenty year old foods you’ve reviewed have jumped out of their ancient coffins and attacked you yet, Matt. I’ve seen five-year-old cans of Simpsons Spagettios on the shelf that tried everything to get me to purchase them, but their negotiation skills were weak.
