The first one is from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Useless trivia: the original poster for that film was a parody of the poster for The Breakfast Club. I love that fact. There’s some great moments in that movie. The guy getting the top half of his head chopped off, the shock of leatherface jumping out of the record storage room, the whole chop-top Vietnman Vet character who’s totally bat-shit nuts with flashbacks, the chainsaw swordfight, that the heroine has the ugliest name in the history of horror movie heroines (Stretch), when Stretch has to wear the bloodied face mask–eh, that’s enough of the movie I ruined. Really weird piece of cinema. I hope someday to see the director’s cut with the scene of Monstervision’s Joe Bob Briggs getting killed with a couple hookers.

Yeah, TCM2 is already coded out into an article, half-written, but then I decided that I wasn’t sure what I thought of the movie. Time has sweetened the memory a bit, but I hated it when I saw it. (not hated, you know, but thought it was a bad movie) Now I think it’s a pretty decent (and really twisted) horror/slasher flick, but one that would’ve been best served as its own unique deal and not a TCM sequel. The lore of Leatherface and pals was not important to that movie. Oh, and Chop Top rocked. DJ Stretch waddn’t too bad either.

Watermarks? Aww, are people stealing the pictures? Lamers... at least you chose a cool font for the things, Matt. I think I acually have that font on my computer. "Uptown", is it? Kornucopia would have been nicer, 'cuz then people would have been all like "Dude! This guy's 'R's are all backwards! He must be one crazy mutha! Lets not steal from him ever! Lets just go back to being plain old lamers!". Yeah. But the one there is good enough.
