Yay, I’m first.
Anyway, me thinks Matt’s been listening to KTU a litttle too much……

Three red buttons…. but are they metaphorical? Do they represent the XE holy trinity of Fat Daddy, Bitner, and the Green Bamboo Peanut?

It’s never to early for toilet humor.
Ever like, have an itch in your armpit, and you scratch, but you get deoderant underneath your fingernails? I hate it when that happens.

That music reminds me of what we played at the Ninja Turtles’ birthday party.
Hey, posting it as much as I can. Anyone want a Photog/ X-E shirt? I have a buddy that makes awesome T-shirts. If I can get any interst and Matt gives me the Okay to use X-E on the shirt, we’re good to go. If you want to find out more or say that you want one, give me an e-mail an bansheex@hotmail.com I don’t have any right now, but if we generate enough "I want, I want" we can make it good to go. Drop me a line, ‘kay?

The three buttons represent the three stages of life. Birth, Living, and Death. By making the second button the best, Matt has made an emphasis on the fact that life is important, and that it should always be taken seriously. But, he still knows that life cannot exist without Birth or Death, so they were included. Matt is a very deep individual. Or I’m just reading too deeply into this. Whatever.

What’s gonna be on the shirt?

Blue shirt, Four running men on a white background, and "That is so Bitner" on the back. If I get Matt’s permission, I’ll put a little X-E logo on the sleeve. Alas, putting the yellow stripes on would be cool, but too difficult. I might switch out "That is soo Bitner" for something else as requested. More info coming soon.

Hell yes, I’d get that shirt if I could afford it! Those songs were very good, somehow that’s what I imagine Matt to be listening to as he’s writing the latest adventure for skeletor.

I always figured being denied the Garbage Pail Kids cartoon was no big loss…after all, I saw the movie. But the cels look pretty cool. Now I feel cheated. It looks like it would have been pretty good if it had been given a chance.

DON’T COPY THAT FLOPPY Just found that today on BBSpot. Nothing says fake 80’s cool more than this video. Listen to the names of the games they mention, it will really bring back memories.

Seriously. Why did parents make such a huge deal out of the Garbage Pail Kids? Because they were excessively scatological? Big deal. What are these parents going to do once it’s time for their kids to read Swift in school? Pull them out of school, support a school library ban on the stuff and then rent the sanitized cartoons? And if there is no cartoon for A Tale of a Tub, well, then, it’s something the y’ung’uns didn’t need to know ’bout anyway. Jeezneesus.
On a related note, we finished the A Nightmare on Elm Street series last night. I’d forgotten the little barbs at parent groups in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. I’d also forgotten that that little kid who I can’t stand was in it. Fucking Miko Hughes. Anyway, on a more positive (and self-congratulatory) note: Yay! Finishing F13th and ANOES is even better than last summer when we spent the sweltering evenings watching the Halloween series.
Man, we really need to get a decent air conditioner so we can just fuck during summer like normal people do.
I think that Photog t-shirts would be good: but I just blew my whole wardrobe budget on my first full wardrobe revamp in years, so what I and my cashless, grubby paw think really doesn’t matter since I can’t swing a t-shirt right now anyway. Still, I can just imagine my delight years from now at passing by a t-shirt exchange market and seeing "That Is Soo Bitner" hanging at a stall instead of the usual beer-and-tits gag shirts. (Hey, I understand: I like beer and tits too. I’m just saying I don’t want to waste space on my babydolls to send a stylized message about them, that’s all.)

I recently made a shirt with a large Unown Yield on it. I wear it all the time. I also just made a drink by the following specifications:
1/3 Orange Gatorade
1/3 Sprite
1/3 Milk
Yes, it sounds disgusting, but I’d recommend it.
I wear an overshirt, so it would just be an authentic Photog shirt. Cool. Keep pushing for the yellow stripes, and maybe a few other X-E trademark shirts. Gotta go - my Total Recall tape is starting.

Hola Guys,
Don’t worry, we will be doing T-Shirts and other merchandise on the site fairly soon, I just have to sit Matt down in a corner and prevent him from being distracted for 5 minutes to iron out all the details and such.
I’ve been wanting to do shirts for quite some time, to help eleviate the massive bandwidth bills Matt has to pay to Mr. Hosting Company. Corprate Bastards!
So stay tooned, and if you have anything to say about the possibility of us producing X-E shirts, feel free to drop me a line at tsrdotcom@adelphia.net. Unlike Matt, I actully answer my e-mails. RIMSHOT!
Matt;s own personal savior and Z-E’s Web Design Guru,

Ted Turner’s End of the World tape as parodied in Gremlins 2:
http://forums.alternet.org/gue...gfgjM+-chjz+MediaCulture+43+20
What would your tape annoucing the end of the world consist of?
This is what Ted Turner has planned, according to Mitchell Fink of NYDaily News:
"…Turner, it seems, has been a doom-and-gloom kind of guy from the very day in June 1980 when he launched the cable network. He said then, as only he could, "We gonna go on air June 1, and we gonna stay on until the end of the world. When that time comes, we’ll cover it,play ‘Nearer, My God, to Thee,’ and sign off.
"Ten years later, I’m told, Turner used CNN production facilities to create what he called his "end-of-the-world" video. Sources tell me it consists of a recording of "Nearer, My God," over footage of a waving American flag. Turner is said to have ordered the tape locked away until it was determined that the world was about to end.
"It was like a sign-off tape that you often see in the middle of the night," says one source. "But to Ted, it was a sign-off forever."

You know, reading that Live Action He-Man article again made me realize something–the guy playing Man-At-Arms looks like a porn star. Must be the funky moustache. I’ll never think of his helmet the same way again.
Thanks, X-Entertainment, for making think of Man-At-Arms.

> the guy playing Man-At-Arms looks like a porn star.
Have you had the pleasure of seeing the new MOTU comic books yet, Sean? I opened, I think, the third ish and my first reaction was — well, actually, my first reaction was "Woah. They gave the story lines angst." But my second reaction was "Jeez, lookit all the skin ‘n’ bits ‘n’ stuff. Everyone looks like a porn star. [flip page] Eeew! Man-At-Arms looks like a porn star! [flip page] Hey HEY! *Teela* looks like a porn star!" Oddly enough, I didn’t buy the comic book, but a G-rated grown-up mag instead.
Obviously the summer heat is getting to me.

Posted by
Molten @ 07/06/2003 2:20 PM EDT
But Man-At-Arms doesn’t just look like a porn star, he looks like a GAY porn star. Seriously, how many hetero men do you see walking around with that mustache? Have we ever met Teela’s mother, for that matter? Personally, I think it’s great that the Eternian adoption agency would let a gay single dad adopt.

Posted by
Hellpop! @ 07/06/2003 3:55 PM EDT
In the new series, it’s explained that Man-At-Arms adopted Teela. Don’t know about the original series. Funimation sucks.

Posted by
Onslaught Six @ 07/06/2003 5:59 PM EDT
I think I understand Man-At-Arms now. Everyone else in Eternia (good or bad) has some sort of side show freak attribute, but MAA always just seemed like a useless regular guy. Maybe his freakshow ability has to do with his (gay?) pornstar abilities. Leading to terrifying thoughts involving his underpants. I’ve said too much.
And adopting Teela doesn’t help the rumours.

Posted by
Sean @ 07/06/2003 6:09 PM EDT
The scary thing is that if Duncan is gay, who else in Eternia is gay? I mean he can’t be the only one, right?
Hate to cast aspersions on the main hero, but He-Man…well, he calls himself He-Man, I think that says it all.

Posted by
Hellpop! @ 07/06/2003 6:19 PM EDT
Whatever He-Man’s story is, I’m pretty sure Prince Adam walks less straight than a chronic glue sniffer with uneven legs. I mean, just LOOK AT THIS! The shirt, the hair, THE FACE.

Posted by
JC @ 07/06/2003 8:48 PM EDT
Ok, I thought about the Prince Adam is gay thing and looked at the photographic evidence and it is obvious to me that the homosexual community on Eternia consists solely of Man-at-Arms and Beast Man. Granted Prince Adam may be a little swishy, and the He-Man gear boarders on Dungeon Master gear. But Man-at-Arms is an old-school Freddy Mercury style bottom, and Beast Man is the ultimate bear.

unsigned @ 07/06/2003 9:29 PM EDT
> it is obvious to me that the homosexual community on Eternia consists solely

So I guess there’s no chance of me ever getting any Teela loving.
Dang; my last girlhood fantasy shot down like, um…like so many Enterprises being helmed by Deanna Troi. (Sorry, we just finished watching ‘Nemesis’ and in this heat that’s the furthest back I want to trudge to find an appropriate simile).
You know, now that others have pointed it out, I can totally picture Man-At-Arms wearing chaps and singing ‘YMCA.’

Posted by
Molten @ 07/06/2003 10:03 PM EDT
I used to watch the cartoon faithfully, and I recall the episode where you find out that Teela was adopted. In that episode I thought it was revealed that Teela’s mother is the Sorceress. Which still leaves the question of who her father is. Skeletor? Photog?
The world may never know…

Posted by
Grifty McGrift @ 07/07/2003 10:56 AM EDT
Teela may just not know of the love the dares not speak its name. How many other women would there be for her to learn with on Eternia? Sorceress is her mom; Evil-Lyn is, well, evil and probably not a good first time experience; and He-Man’s mother (whatever her name is) is about as exciting as cardboard. So maybe Teela is gay and just doesn’t know it. Unless we factor in a She-Ra crossover. In which case I hope Molten gets her wish. Because I have to say, that’s my wish too.
And if the Baroness were to show up for any reason, even better.
I’m so glad I started this conversation, but remember, it isn’t about whether Man-At-Arms is gay, it’s whether he’s a gay PORN STAR. Factor in Beast-Man, and there would be a limited, although curious, audience for those movies.

Yeesh, far to many WRONG mental images conjured up.
Freddy Mercury was born Faruk Balsara, and he was NOT gay. (came out of the closet as bi 48 hours before his death)
He-Man is NOT gay, dammit. Man-at-Arms? Maybe. Beast man? Okay…but He-Man? Hell, no…someone’s been watching "I Love the ’80s" too much.
And Molten, I kinda like the idea of Teela being into women…besides, aren’t all women at least slightly interested in women deep down?

Squee4242, I hate to bust your Freddy Mercury bubble but bi in the late 80’s meant gay.

Posted by
unsigned @ 07/08/2003 1:29 AM EDT
Freddy Mercury had sex with women and men. Whatever you called that in the 80’s, that’s what he was.
I have some more bad news. Squee, he died 24 hours before he died of pnemonia. (I know I probably spelled that wrong) Not 48, not a big deal. Unless you’re Freddy Mercury. Plus, the biggest gay character in cartoon history has got to be Soundwave. We all saw those crazy puppy-dog love optics he always made at Megatron. Am I right or am I right? Or am I wrong? Or am I sick in the head? Or all of the above?

Posted by
Bansheex @ 07/08/2003 8:34 PM EDT
Whoops. I meant to say he came out 24 hours before he died. I don’t think he could die 24 hours before he died. Sorry. Bad case of stupid.

Posted by
Bansheex @ 07/08/2003 8:45 PM EDT
I thought it was 24, but I said 48 just in case because 24 sounds so overly dramatic.
