The show about the kindly old beaver was called Poppa Beaver’s Story Time, and it aired on NickJr.
After reading a half dozen comments, I have finally remembered Space Cases. Does anyone remember how that show ended, or did it just end sans conclusion?

AHAHAHHA Mortis the Safety Tortoise! The first season or two of Welcome Freshmen rocked! The later ones sucked ass, when they made it less crazy. There were some hilarious skits on that show. I skipped down a lil, but did anyone mention Roundhouse? There’s one quote from that show me and my bro always used. "You’re at home. It’s a family night, and everyone’s gathered around it to play Monopoly! You’re all having fun when somebody eventually just HAS to say it…"Imagine if all of this were REAL MONEY?" It then went into a skit imagining if that were true
lol my brother and I cracked up at this skit and still use that quote to this day :D

I don’t know abou Goof Troop. Actually Goofy’s had a son for a while, but until GT he was just referred to as "Goofy Jr." but not Max. BTW, thanks for the info. Like many of you and Today’s Special, I could have SWORN that show was a figment of my imagination until someone confirmed it’s existance for me.

I don’t know how Space Cases ended, but I think the crew finally got off the ship and it just kinda drifted off somewhere. Wat happened to Catalina, though? She and Suzie got swapped out for each other abou midway through the show’s run, but did she ever get back?

Hey, I got even more stuff that u could research about, Matt, and possibly do an article about. There was this kids show called, The Great Space Coaster that used to come on TV in the afternoons, as well as one called, The New Zoo Review, both of which are completely and utterly jam packed with the kind of cheese that only the 80′s could provide. That, and The Great American Hero, Hardcastle and McCormick, Heart To Heart, and the list goes on and on and on…..

Chestnuts roasted by GraphArtist @ 05/27/2003 6:03 PM

Oh, man… the New Zoo Revue was being shown in the mornings on a small-time local station a couple years back. I’d seen it as a kid, but like most things we see as kids, the real thing is worse than the memory. Bit talking animals aren’t so bad, but… the folks in the costumes obviously had to use one arm to work the mouths of their beasts; all the animals characters had one arm hanging limply at their sides. It’s seriously creepy, like they’d all had strokes. Brrr.

Yesterdayland, at least for me, hasn’t been accessible for a while. I keep getting a no server error. I miss it! ;_;

Does anyone know the words to the theme song of "Puttnam’s Prairie Emporium"? If you know them, or even a few of them… please post them

at least I’m not alone man is it me or did we really take NICK for granted as kids? It was so great then they axed Roundhouse and they started showing All That which was a poor filler for Roundhouses genious and the system slowly started to collapse, Pete and Pete can still be seen on the Noggin network

Someone was asking for the words to the theme song of "Puttnam’s Prairie Emporium", the small-time Saksatchewan kids show that went national on CTV. Well, here they are:

There’s a place we all can go…
It’s always been there I know…
They have things there,
you would not believe…
So come on down to Puttnam’s,
and you’ll see what I mean…
New adventures all the time,
And Mr. Puttnam thinks it’s fine,
You can be yourself there,
it’s all right to be you,
You will find a friend there,
and a smile or two…
At Puttnam’s you’ll always feel at home,
At Puttnam’s you’ll never be alone…
Magic’s in the air,
and friends are everywhere…
At Puttnam’s Prairie Emporium.

There you go. Now, if I can only find out whatever happened to Katie (Brandie Mickleborough) from that show, my life would be complete.

E!

gratefulgreen eyedgrrl needs help finding pinwheel stuff from the 1979-1980 show on T.V. called pinwheel:)

I would like to see the Get In Shape Commercial. I used to play with mine all the time.

Chestnuts roasted by Cindy @ 10/15/2003 8:00 PM

I would also like to see the get in shape girl commercial. I used to pretend to be on that commercial while playing with it.

Just wanted to say how amazed I am that anyone, Maxx, Toilet Duck Fan and E! included, remembers Puttnam’s Prairie Emporium, let alone the lyrics to the theme song!! I created, produced and directed that show and the cat puppet is at this moment staring down at me from a nearby shelf wondering if he’s ever going to work again!! Thanks to all for the comments and the interest!
