The Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine!

The Snoopy Sno-Cone Maker! Click the link to see X-E's pictorial guide and tribute to one of the best toys ever forged - a doghouse capable of crushing ice into flavorful piles of cherry fun. The article's not quite as fun as playing with the real thing, but how could it be? No matter how great an article is, it'll never taste like cherries. Today's post went up a lot earlier than usual, which is probably good in one way, but terrible in another. I had to say goodbye to my most favorite front page article logo ever...

Farewell, old friend. I wish Nukie could've stayed up there forever, but then people would either assume that I stopped updated or was now using all my time to review Nukie over and over again. It wouldn't have worked. Oh, for the readers out there in Delaware, the column I'm doing for the News Journal is being run on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The first article ran last Saturday, delighting five people and swarming their office with calls from people angry that they're doing featurettes on Suckerman.

I just read the Nukie review, took three tries because I kept running out of time… damn you, responsibilities!!!

Anyway, since the there was a mention of but no link to eBay, I checked it out myself and found one Nukie vhs for sale… very cheap. Less than $3 when I looked. Here’s the description of the movie from the sale:

A space child, lost in the universe, is abducted by the U.S. Space Foundation. In a desperate intergalastic search for the frightened little alien, his brother Nukie mistakenly lands in Africa where he is befriended by African twins. A great adventure movie. Box and tape are in good condition. Check out all my other movies, dvd’s, and books.

"A great adventure movie."????? Don’t buy from this guy, he must be desperate for the cash to buy more crack!

Hey, if you had a copy of Nukie wouldn’t you try to talk it up in a desperate attempt to sell it? I know I would; I can see the barren nuclear fallout circle around the VHS now.

Matt! You’re into obsquer 80′s goodness, but DON’T mention the likeness Snoopy’s hat has to a Power Dome from Devo’s Freedom of Choice album?

You are Remiss on your Duities to the age of de-evolution, my friend.

I have to agree with Molten. I imagine that a copy of Nukie in your possesion would cause strange occurances to happen in and around your home. The Ebay seller just wants to get the voodoo evil away from him and in someone else’s house.

Matt, congrats from the X-E Army in Delaware. Give it time, and all of Delaware will be under your benevolent control. I will gladly stand before all and proclaim "I am an X-E Servant!" Keep up the marvelous writing!

Matt, you are soooo lucky! I’ve always wanted a Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine! I may have to find one of these. Sure, I’ll look like a dork buying one, but I could always say it’s for my brother or my neighbors’ kids…and Snoopy Sno Cones are probably a lot cheaper than sno-cones from the Wildwood Boardwalk.

I also had the snoopy sno-cone-slushie-or whatever machine but i thought it sucked because it never made enough and you had to crank the stupid thing so long. It made a mess you had to clean up, so all in all it was more work than it was worth. They tasted good though maybe if it was bigger it woulda been a good product.
