03/28/2003: Harry Potter’s Slime Playset.
New Article Up: Sorry for the short week - it’s been a long week. See, I did the short/long trick. The latest post is all about Harry Potter and his fabulous Slime Chamber Playset, where snakes spit sludge and Harry gets green. As an extra bonus, the article stars a rubber kangaroo.
An interesting video finally arrived in the mail today. It’s something you guys have asked me to review a zillion times. I’d give you more hints, but anyone who’s read the blog long enough should be able to guess it. Especially when I tell you that it’s a movie based on trading cards. Yeah. Also on deck for the weekend is a very special review of a very special sideshow game. Stay tuned.

GARBAGE PAIL KIDS! It is probably the PG version. Do you know that there was a PG-13 version when it was released, but they cut some stuff out for the re-release to make it PG. Oh well, im still jealous because I have wanted it for a while myself.

Heeey! I almost bought that slime chamber myself…but i didn’t want to pay $3 for it. I almost got the slime figures too…but didn’t want to pay 5$ for them. Slime is back out too…i saw it at kb kids…I didn’t buy that either. Im a very cheap/picky toy shopper.

Slime Rulez!! I used to have a can of slime that had red plastic worms in it. I also had one that came with two plastic eyeballs.

They actually re-used the he-man mold in a line called King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, featuring a modern day highschool football team going back in time to fight evil as knights.
But yeah, it had the hordak head in the background and everything.

"Notice how poor Betty eventually fell victim to being trapped in a slime cocoon. I wonder if she’ll metamorphose. Into a turtle."
That is the best line I have ever read. Ever.
I don’t know. My personal favorite X-E line is from the Strawberry Shortcake Cereal article, involving the sun and some of the garbled gunk the Red-Robed Wizard in Zelda spits out, but that’s because I dig anything that can refrence my favorite game series in an article about dolls that smelt of fruit.
Wow, that was one long and unweildly sentence! Matt, that kangaroo figure you’ve got is positivly surreal. Sure you don’t know where you got it from?

This is like a Harry Potter version of the He-Man Slime Pit set.
