Some good news

Remember, this Monday the next vault of long-forgotten commercials will be unleashed in the downloads section. I've got some incredible ones this time around, including several that were used for past X-E articles. The first batch was cool, but the second batch will have more of the ones you really wanted to see.

The good news: the word I'm getting is that the ads on the download pages - you know, the big ones on the bottom - will cease to play sound after the current round of sponsors makes an exit. Keep in mind that I heard this second hand, but that's what I was told. This means you'll be able to view the download files without having to hear audio that you didn't particularly feel like hearing. Not sure when that'll go into effect, but hopefully soon. Also on the next batch: it'll either be an additional 25 or 50 commercials this week, time depending.

In case you missed it, there's a new article up, about Colorforms' Outer Space Men action figures from the 60s. Probably not the most popular topic out there, but the article itself came together pretty well and has at least one joke about a removable penis.

The next article should be done by the morning, unless I decide to do absolutely nothing instead, which is likely. It's a fun one. Actually, I've got so many great article topics to use these days that I'm almost overwhelmed. In previous years I used to go absolutely nuts trying to think of what to do next - nowadays I've got too much to write about, if that's possible.

Cripsy critters are of the devil. And the faux durante puppet is the anti-christ.
