Jiffy Pop Christmas.

If I could just do articles like these and only these for the rest of my life, I'd be pretty happy. Click here to read about Santa Claus' attempts to make Jiffy Pop. Co-starring Metroplex.

I always liked these comic-with-toys articles.

Also– good choice for the new splashscreen with Full Sail. That place rocks!

Have you ever visited it? Hell, if it wasn’t for X-E, I wouldn’t be in college right now! FULL SAIL KICKS ASS!!

You should do more of these. They’re so much more fun to read than the reviews.

It’s Metroplex, not Metrolplex.

for some reason it made me genuinely sad to see santa’s "nice snack" ruined.

um… yeah.

I hate you. Seriously, I really do.

You just made me decide to go out and actually try Coffee Mate on popcorn. Don’t try and stop me either man, one my mind’s set on something, it’s just like Juggernaut, you can’t stop it.

Couldn’t be any worse than the time we had some instant cappuchino mix in the house and I’d just eat spoonfuls of that stuff straight from the can. Oh that was fun, let me tell you. Regular coffee mix though, ick, don’t eat that stuff, you have the after taste for like eight hours or so.

Great stuff.

this shit rocks.

matt you are number 7 in my top 10 heroes list.

i love the toy comic articles.

in fact.. have u ever heard of an old english tv show called the adam and joe show?

it was a shitty comedy sketch show, but what rocked was that every episode would be worth watching for a small sketch which would be

a spoof of a recent movie or popular tv show, acted out in stop motion style with old starwars figures and cuddly toys.

it rocked like the rockers on a rocking horse made of rock

That looks like my experience with Jiffy Pop. Except mine didn’t have Santa, a robot, or former Mortal Kombat champions. That stuff is evil and should be labeled as such.

But now that I have an electric stove and there’s no chance of anything catching on fire, I’m tempted to try again. And put hot chocolate mix with minimarshmallows on it.

Having Sub-Zero pop out of Metroplex’s chest was very funny, but giving him an adorable accent made it even better. I’m still laughing about it.

Good work.

I love these articles the most. If you could write dialogue for Lucas, the new SW movies might be bareable … maybe …

I like how, when you click on the Legless Maul picture in the article, it takes you to the awesome Candyland Quickie from last year. Nice to see that these made-up toy characters have continuity in their little world.

Is the Santa Clause figure you used for this article the same one from the easy-bake oven article? I can’t tell…

Also, I love these types of articles. You should do them more frequently. You should also archive all of the ones you did, for instant access.

been looking at this site for going 2 years now, and still my favorite articles are the comics with toys ones, keep ‘em comin! They make reviews pale in comparison.

Actually, isn’t that the demon-possessed Santa from the first Thrift Store article?

Hey, between this and the TMNT review, I think Matt’s my new God. He’s the best comedic writer I’ve ever seen, and I think it’s unfair to say this is better than reviews. Being a writer myself I’d like to say that one, reviews are a shitload more time-consuming and brainracking than a comic strip, which is easier and less migraine-inducing to come up with imaginative lines that will hold people’s attention. I liked the TMNT review better, really, and I haven’t even seen the special!

And you haven’t lived until you eat Jiffy Pop with chocolate powder creamer on top. Beats even the sugar-cinnamon-butter combo, and that’s tough to triumph over.;)

I think the Santa should be the new mascot for Coppertone Sunblock. He just looks appropriate, really.

Absolutely the most funny type of article there is.

You are my god!
